Independent of the agencies
This is an independent project, not a Caltrans or Oregon DOT service. Agency names identify data sources. We do not claim agency endorsement or reproduce official seals. The collection is deliberately limited and does not represent all US road construction.
Corrections should be traceable
Use Copy data issue details on an item page to capture its ID, URL and dataset version. Add the specific source discrepancy. Use the Site administration page to contact us with the record details and your description. Local corrections retain a reason, supporting source and change history.
Know what a comparison can support
A historical bid is not a promise of a future price, a contractor cost estimate, or a final payment. Read the sample limits and source scope, and verify contract-specific requirements before relying on a comparison.
